The Story
The original "Reckless - The Bike Store" on Fir Street was founded by Paul Dragan and three partners, and opened in May 1986, the same year as Expo. Soon after, Paul took over the business, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with a love of riding.
Reckless expanded to Yaletown in 2000, Victoria in 2002, and Langford (near Victoria) in 2004. Reckless the Bike Store has now become Reckless Bike Stores, and each offers the same "unrelenting friendly service" we have always been known for. Everyone at Reckless takes pride in serving locals and visitors who come into the store, helping you find the right bike and the right accessories.
Reckless is actively involved in the cycling community, sponsoring numerous events around BC, such as MOMAR and the Victoria Times Colonist Cycling Festival. Our Service on Four Wheels blue van can be seen at these events, and helping cyclists in various neighbourhoods.
